I am proud to be taking part in DCCI's "Made Local, Made to Last" promotion, which launches today 11 June.
This year, I am highlighting my porcelain paintings. These are executed on porcelain tiles and then framed. They really add character and a focal point to any room.
I painted these two irises using an open oil technique, which gives a result that is very reminiscent of watercolour. However, unlike watercolours, these paintings can be cleaned and the colours are very stable.

Brenda is supporting this year's made Local, Made to Last promotion which was launched by DCCI on 11 June.
As part of this event, Brenda is high-lighting some of her more unusual pieces.
This art deco vase was selected by DCCI for inclusion in their display at Gifted 2023. Brenda used a simple black and white colour scheme to enhance its unique shape and style.
